Type of Information Collected
RetroPrinter.com is a site designed to inform and promote products which support retro and vintage computers. We do not store any information about visitors to our site, other than than generic tracking information collated by industry wide schemes such as Google Analytics; and information entered by registered users on the Retro-Printer Forums.

We collect information about visitors using the Akismet anti-spam service. The information collected is the IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL.

If you contact us via the Contact Us form, then an email is triggered to our main contact email address containing the information entered into that form by you.  We will retain that data for the purposes of contacting you as an interested party or customer of the business.

Member Contact
We do not contact any website visitors unless it is in connection with a message sent direct to our email address, or through the Contact Us form.  Updates about the Retro-Printer are posted on this website, and on the Retro-Printer forums.

Cookies
Cookies are only used to keep track of unique visitors to the website for the purposes of running the forum –  IP address, internal session ID, user’s domain, type of Internet browser, domain of Web site are collected and used only for traffic auditing and analyzing trends.

Security
In order to ensure security and protection of collected information, all employees are aware of our security policy and practices. Web security is constantly reviewed. Access to the information is limited and only obtained through codenames and passwords. Any loss, misuse, or alteration of information is prohibited followed by appropriate action and termination of employee. This is to uphold our promise to our clients, affiliate members, and property users.

Delete/Deactivate
“Deactivating” refers to the process by which Personally Identifiable Information, upon request, is removed. Because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a consumer’s entry without some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will be functionally deleted. Correct and Update Information
Personal information collected through the Retro-Printer website may be corrected or updated through various methods. All information must be updated by contacting RWAP Software staff either through e-mail or postal mail.
